According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is still the leading cause of death in America. Heart disease is killing Americans more than any other disease.
According to health experts, high blood pressure is the major risk factor for all cardiovascular diseases and complications. It is very closely associated with heart attacks and strokes.
Therefore it goes without saying that being able to efficiently tackle high blood pressure will lead to the reduction in people dying from heart diseases. If Americans can combat the rising cases of high blood pressure among themselves then they can see a drastic reduction in the number of deaths from heart diseases.
High blood pressure can be a very dangerous condition due to its silent nature of attacking. You can have it and not even know it till it reaches a point where it gets too late to be treated. That is why health experts keep advising the general public that it is imperative that we go for regular blood pressure level check ups so we know our levels and know what to do before it gets too late. I cannot emphasize enough on how dangerous high blood pressure is.
Vigorous physical activities for example jogging can help reduce our chances of suffering from high blood pressure. Loosing weight and reducing our salt intake can also help curb high blood pressure in us, automatically reducing our chances of dying from a heart disease.
Besides high blood pressure other culprits that predispose us to heart diseases included obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol levels. And sadly in the United States, obesity problem is growing like a wild fire. The obesity problem in America has reached such a level that even young children have begun suffering severely from it. Controlling these dangerous conditions can save a lot of lives from heart related diseases.
Remember exercise and healthy diets are one of the major ingredients in achieving a healthy heart and longer life.
